Again, very nice work.

I would just like to say that this was the colour I was having my bay painted, or very close to it, before I got vetoed.

I quite like the black in the rear vents, it looks much cleaner that way Smile

I didn't think they had 'any' from the factory.

I'm with Pastymaster. Like the black airvent. Are you doing the plastic filter the same colour, that should hide it a bit more

Skytiger
Very impressed with such thorough and top-class work.
Your pictures give a good view of some places to inject Waxoyl or Dinitrol.
1) on the inner face of the rear wheel arch is an entry point to allow acces to and to treat the double skin. In your picture it looks like a short black strip with rounded ends - the hole on ours was just covered with tape underneath the underseal.
2) The two grommets diagonally placed on the lower back corner of each front wing - these allow access to the sills - I lost one grommet inside the body but found that VW still supply them with next day delivery as part of the T25 catalogue.

Today I noticed a bit of rust starting underneath the battery, so I rubbed it down with a wire wheel on my drill and primered it up. Ready for some stone chip tommorow.

Here's the rust

All primered up with a few other spots of rust covered aswell

Well done my battery tray in stone chip but forgot to take a picture of it finished, will take one tommorow.

Well Kiteman I thought I'd just paint the plastic filter the same, however there was a bit of masking to do see pics.

Best laid plans and all that, weather hasn't been so good up here, too much rain Crying or Very sad

Phileas is just about back together, I have spare wheel carrier to put back on and interior cushions to put in. There are a hundred and one other jobs to be done but that will be it back on the road and driveable.

Not for long mind next task is dash removal for modification and colour coding Very Happy

Also need him back together for photographs for DVLA to change Body type from panel van to Motor Caravan, Colour, No. of Seats and my engine number was missed out aswell. So first trip will be to the DVLA office. bounce

Undo the 13mm nut and I could put my hand through the rear light opening as my lights were out and pull it out not very hard it basically falls out really, then I pushed it out through the light opening to paint it.

Here are a few shots of inside but not changed from pre-painted Phileas. I do however plan to modify the dash and put heater vents in, double din stereo, reversing camera, weld up holes not in use because of RHD conversion, blank up ashtray and install old school heater vent controls. Oh and get the dash painted in viper green to match the outside.
