sliding windows Empty
PostSubject: sliding windows   sliding windows EmptyTue Nov 27, 2012 5:30 pm

Hi All
I have a 71 german westfalia
i am looking to replace the jalouise windows as well as the rear driver side window w/ wing window with sliding windows.
i am under the impression that sliding windows were installed in brazilian bays from 68-79 and possibly later.
does anyone have a lead on these parts, new or used?
Thanks
Kurt

The jalousie windows can certainly be replaced by brand new sliding window kits as fitted to new Kombis. I've never seen sliding windows in the rear side glass.

New sliding window kits are available from all the main parts suppliers : C&C, Just Kampers and VW Heritage.
