Hi, I'm Malcolm born and always lived in W Essex. Retired from teaching 2 years ago and used my lump sum to buy a new watercooled T2 Rio conversion from Danbury in October 2007. Always wanted a VW camper but couldn't afford one when they were new! It's lavender over white and covered with flower decals! Lowered, with an elevating roof, roof rack, chrome and matching lavender upholstery. Before my 33 years in teaching I spent 12 years in electronics and like making and 'improving' things. Mods so far: chrome eyelids, jail bars offside and rear, plastic rain vents on front door windows, door pockets and new FatFace hibiscus curtains.

I'm intrigued by the sound of these plastic rain vents ....
Any chance you could pop some photos of your Bay up on the site?

I had a nice message from Malcolm today. He now lives in Northern Ireland but sadly parted ways today with Petal. She has gone to a new owner who hopefully will pop up here soon.
