I genuinely feel for all those drivers stuck in the snow overnight,..... but if only they had had the foresight to own a Kombi.................... they would at least have had a warm bed for the night and been able to rustle up a hot drink and meal.

If only...

I'm sure there were plenty of drivers who had no choice about using those particular roads etc but I listened to Cheryl Baker on the news this morning who spent 10 hours in her car after heading to visit her daughter an hour away, after she slid her car in the snow and was 'shaken up'.

Apparently she got there consoled her then got back in her car to head home again only to complain about the conditions and traffic again!

Some people just need to think a bit more before jumping in their cars for unnecessary journeys, or into driving conditions that are clearly going to be difficult.
