Well that's a 'how long is a piece of string' question isn't it!
Surely it depends on how high 'your particular' garage is, whether you have an up and over door and whether you're looking at a standard height BraziBay or lowered?

I had the same question when I bought mine. If you do a search on 'problems with height' you will find my topic. As Tim says it all depends on the size of your garage compared to your van. I never thought I'd get my Kombi in but after a bit of adjustment to the up and over door it fits like a glove.

We had a 'standard size' single garage , width wise it was fine but we had to raise the roof to accommodate her. From memory our garage door id 7ft 6 Sqaure. There's a picture of ours in our garage in the Orange Zone. We also had to extend the back of our garage by a meter to keep the existing fridge/freezer and tumble dryer in there too...
I suppose it depends how big your garage is in the first place , Danbury have all the dimensions of the Kombi in their online brochure and we had no problems , just don't forget if you have a roof rack that is not taken account in the Danbury figures...
More than happy to measure my garage dimensions for you Ian if that would help...
We always enter/exit her using the sliding side door...
