| Just got home after the weekend, and as the sun was out yesterday, we decided to cross the pond, (the river Severn) and go for a picnic in Wales. Went to a NT property Dyffryn Gardens, we went to last year when I forgot my camera, so I took some this time. Front drive Back lawn When we got there it was as quiet as can be, and all you could hear were the birds, very peaceful. If we had left it a couple more weeks, the daffs and tulips may have been out as well. After lunch, we decided to go down to Barry Island to see what was 'occurrin'. On approaching Barry, the bilingual signs said Barry - Bari so it was more Waterloo Road than Gavin and Stacey. Bit of a mistake, there were miles of traffic going into as well as coming out, and no parking anywhere so we decided to go over to Tredegar House instead. That was chocker as well, so eventually we wended our way home and just enjoyed the drive and sunshine. | |
