Don't forget if you are storing your BraziBay for some length of time, it is important to keep the starter battery on a trickle charge, otherwise you risk the ECU forgetting its marriage to the keys/immobiliser and/or the battery dying.
You can pick up a trickle charger for not a lot of money:

Having just got our van, we had Christmas dinner in it on a hill top in Wales last year. Tax it all year, and try and get the odd day trip when it is fair. Agree that the salt is my concern, and would not go out in ice or snow. A serious point about Malvern at Xmas. We once went for a walk up the Malverns on Christmas Day and it was packed, only a space or two in the car parks. If you are staying in the area, recommend the Cottage in the Woods for a good meal, only problem is a steep and sharp access for the VW. Did I really write "Christmas" in October, please no.

Thanks for the advice rebel dog , we go regular to the area ,and only ever walk into Malvern ,so no problem with parking.will try the cottage,thanks

Bessy taxed all year, give her a few runs through the winter, shee keeps warm in the garage but a tight fit!! ..i keep giving batteries a charge as well
