PostSubject: Curtains in cab?   Wed Feb 26, 2014 8:58 pm

Hello all, just wondered if anyone has found a good way of put curtains in the cab, the woman at vw camper curtains (online) was a great help but said our bays were a little tricky

Thanks in advance.

No it's on a curtain rail ,similar to your side curtains ,mine is fixed to the bulkhead where the pop up roof struts are fixed.

We copied Tallulahs idea of using a windbreak pole across the bulkhead and then using tab top curtain, works very well and does not need attatching.

Tallulah also has a curtain behind the cab seats, it runs along a cut down pole (broom handle would work just as well) that sits tight on the ledge that the roof bed sits on. It's tied out of the way behind the passenger seat when not in use.

Here is a pic of Max sporting a shower curtain also this is attached to the POP top handle rather than an additional pole.

Ivan - quite a few of us use Cab Covers instead of curtains at the front - see thread here: Cab Covers

Don't think you'll be disappointed Feliz, we have one from the same supplier as Absinthe and Lilyvdub and it was a great investment.

..of course we do feel a little cheated looking at Absinthe printed on the cover . Should have looked a little closer and got printed one - typical  Rolling Eyes

Feliz my daughter works in graphic design and suggests most t-shirt printers who deal with heat press transfers should be able to put a transfer on it for you... Might be worth taking your new wrap into one of them, am sure they'd be able to tell you if they're up to it or not...
