Peak District and Stratford Upon Avon

After CamperJam me and Kitegirl decided to head on up to the Peak District for a few days

Peak District

We Stayed at Laneside Campsite in the village of hope. Lovely site situated about 2 miles from Castleton where you have Peveril Castle and Peak, Speedwell, Blue John and Treak Cliff Caverns. Plus the amazing walks and views you get from the area.

Stratford Upon Avon

After the Peak District we then headed down to Stratford Upon Avon. What a beautiful Town, really impressed with the area.

Didn't pre-book anything, the first campsite sign we saw was for the racecourse, so thought what the heck let's give it ago. Facilities weren't anything special but were clean and tidy but for £14 a night, including the dogs, was well worth it. At the far corner of the course was a pathway that led right into the town center which was only a mile away. On top of that we had nearly the whole place to ourselves
