We decided to have a 4 hour drive for the September weekend and headed off to Loch Ness Shores Its part of the Caravan and Camping Club, but on similar lines to Eskdale where the owner manages the site rather than different managers every year.
Loch Ness Shores is on the quieter side of the loch, but it still wasn't quiet enough to see Nessie!
A 2 minute walk to the side of the loch
A very nice site and the owners were very welcoming.
I bought a Point 65 mercury (2 man). Have been enjoying the freedom it gives - really good going up to local loch in the evenings after work for a paddle - takes seconds to assemble. Not been on the sea yet - keep meaning to take some pics. Mine is red to go with van, and you can get orange too!!
