| Scooby is around seven and a half years old and the mileage is only just into the 70,000's (km's that is). Think it was around 44 or 48,000 km's when he joined our family. ________________________________________________________________________________ Proud winners of Spike's Trophy 2017 Scooby - Born To Run | |

Tim's right Jason, you need to get out more. Enjoy it for what it is - a fun vehicle. The more you take it out the more you enjoy it.
I can't see the point of using it like a classic. It's practically new. | |

| Totally get where you are coming from Jason. I love that feeling of getting in my camper after a while of not using. A totally different experience from my normal drive. Nearly reached 10 kilometres. The mechanic keeps telling me I should drive it more | |

| We got our VW December 2012 and have done 11000km. Our problem is that we give it intermittent use, so it won't go out for a couple of weeks then a long trip or a holiday. It would benefit from more regular use I feel. We haven't got the facilities to keep it in mint condition, a garage or anything that sophisticated, but I have never seen the appeal of owning any vehicle and not using it. | |

| Coming up to 3 years and about 21k km. As others have said, it is seasonal, and heavy use in bursts when we go to Europe. Have to say that in terms of the reasons we bought it, the VW has been a big success. I have a lung problem that does not like hotel air conditioning, and the van is a great way to see Europe without hotels. For us it is more fun and healthier + the dog can come with us. Hoping for many more years of the same. | |
