AH - tbf it was a dead one by the side of the river - nothing living was harmed in the feeding of the fire!

Fair enough. .but I think in general the campsite wishes that even "dead" wood scavenged shouldn't be brought on site.
so it would be easier all round if we take our own.

We will bring wood for the firepit. Need to get chopping. Won't pack the chainsaw Smile

Only a week to recover from 3 weeks away then off to Appletreewick.

I imagine those of you who booked online for Mason's will have had this email:

We hope you are looking forward to your upcoming camping holiday at Masons. We have put together an email with a bit of information on checking in, our site and getting here.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE:

Check-in for pitches: 1pm

Check-in for glamping: 3pm

If you will be arriving after 7pm or you will be coming a day later than expected, please do call the office to let us know.

If you require an early check in please contact the office to see if this is available for your pitch. This will not be possible for glamping bookings.

As check-ins can be very busy and to help make your check-in as quick and simple as possible, please follow these steps on arrival:

-          Once through the gates to the campsite pull up your vehicle safely and come to the Silver Airstream Office in the courtyard.

-          If you are staying with other people on site, please check-in at the office before joining you friends.

-          If you are part of a group please ensure you have the £40 deposit required. This can either be cash or card. The group T&Cs are attached to this email.

-          If you are renting one of our glamping units ensure you have the £50 deposit. This can be cash or card.

On your departure day check-out is 11am. A lazy day pass may be available for your pitch for £5. Please ask the office if you would like this.

If you are staying in a glamping unit, please visit the office before leaving the site.

ON-SITE:

Masons Coffee and Bread Shed will also be open from 8.30 every morning of your stay serving fresh barista coffee and home baking. We bake fresh baguettes, croissants, pain au chocolate and pain au raisin every morning. These are available to pre-order from the office the day before.

Our shop is open from 8am with supplies of milk, eggs, bacon, toiletries, sweets to keep the kids quiet… and all the essentials.

BBQs are permitted on site as long as they do not damage our grass. We cannot allow you to bring your own braziers or fire pits, but we do hire out our own fire pits on a first come, first served basis at check-in. If you are wishing to hire a fire pit when you are arrive, please note we require a £10 deposit, which is CASH ONLY.

GETTING HERE:

Masons Campsite

Appletreewick

BD23 6DD  - We have also attached some directions to this email.

If you do have any further questions prior to your arrival, please do give us a call or drop us an email.

We very much look forward to welcoming you to Masons Campsite.

The Masons Crew

t: 01756 720275

e: online-enquiries@masonscampsite.co.uk

And this one:

Good afternoon,

We hope you are looking forward to the Craven Arms Beer Festival and your stay at Masons Campsite.

The contenders for the weekend have now been announced and this has been emailed to you. This is also available to view on our Facebook page.

Please confirm if you require electric hook up for the unit(s) in you booking, so we can arrange the weekend pitches.

We look forward to hearing from you soon.

The Masons Crew

I've advised them that we all want EHU and they've confirmed, as well as saying:

Thanks, Martin.

We look forward to seeing you all again.

Kind regards,

Polly
