Tim. Love the jet ski ! I've got a Kawasaki . It's a good idea to wear the cut off cord round your leg rather than the rist. I did the Rya power boat course recently and the teachers all said use the leg as more robust and less likely to not work . Take real care ( when they go wrong at speed it can really hurt and we recently had a family member with broken ribs and punctured lung from a jet ski come off) and enjoy .

Thanks Jason. Mine's a Kawasaki too. I don't think the lanyard would reach my ankle to be honest. I've seen them clipped onto lifejackets though .... Yes I'm quite aware that a high speed fall off can hurt a lot, hasn't happened yet but have heard. I'm doing the RYA shortly. Need it to take the ski to France this summer.
