Took Sadie to the local stables yesterday to get a trailer of horse manure for the garden. Never towed anything before so I was feeling proud and manly to have achieved this tiny thing.

Our vans take to pulling a trailer very well.  The one thing I keep forgetting to attach each time is that mini flag-pole so I can see that the trailer is still following me in the rear view mirror! lol!

I thought that very thing, a flag would be really helpful.

I use a pole that is designed to go on the back of a bike.

Brake linkage bolt freed up.
Connected a Ctek charger to my leisure battery from my garage.
If I drive off before disconnecting it just pops off
But am I likely to do such a thing? Embarassed
Couldn't get the top bolt undone on the steering box to top up the fluid though Evil or Very Mad

What condition is Tango’s fuel filler pipe, or has it been replaced?

I did the same!
Not been out in Eddie for 3 months and he started first time. Went for a lovely long drive and got the oil pumping around the engine.

Mine had been standing for at least a couple of months, fired first time. Only had time for a quick drive check the tire pressures etc.

Don't panic if you only do short runs in this cold and find a load of mayonnaise type goo in the oil filler neck - it's purely condensation. On a watercooled it would mean a blown head gasket!!

Picked van up from Neil's at Lite steer drove home (309miles) absolutely delighted, cannot put into words the difference it is to drive. Highly recommend Neil at Litesteer for all you steering needs, water pipes and most VW issues. Tim

Cheating a bit as it was yesterday but gave him a good wash and took the back lights off to give the lenses a good clean up. Should have done before and after pictures as the difference was huge!

We have a spare pair of back-light lenses. So change them over often and have plenty of time to clean up the dirty ones. However, even with new rubber seals on the housing there is always green growth inside the lens. Any tips to stop this?

I have drilled small holes at the bottom of the lenses to let the water out. Tim
