| When Kev and I met recently for the Brazilian VW Bay Picnic, I couldn't help but be slightly envious of the reg plate Kev had on his bus. It's one of the bonuses of owning a Kombi that - should you like cherished plates (and I do) - you can get one to add that extra bit of character to your BraziBay. I've been keeping an eye on the DVLA Cherished Marks website and what with the VAT increase coming up in the new year it seemed rude to not treat Max (and myself) to an early Christmas present. I like the fact that the '04' gets people asking me about my Kombi so wanted to keep that element. Shortly I'll be leaving the WX club and Max will be proudly displaying: AN04BAY For £250 all in. If you want something similar - I suggest you get yourself over to the DVLA's site pronto - they'll no doubt be going up with the VAT rise in the new year. | If you want to view how a reg is going to look on both front and back plates, these guys have a great plate designing tool on their site: My Showplates You can order from them, I have, without having to supply V5 documentation etc. Also if you want to go for square plates the size is 11" x 8". Enjoy! ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer @brazilianvwbay | |

| £250 is a very good price, I dont know exactly what my family paid for mine as it was a birthday present but it was much more than that. I also use Showplates for my other cars as well, great service, good price and no messing about with v5 etc...Oh and you can also add a slogan printed along the bottom of the plate ________________________________________________________________________________ 2006 Air-Cooled Duby

| Yep as soon as you add the letters 'VW' into a plate the price does soar Kev!
As far as slogans along the bottom go .... my new ones have "BrazilianVWBay.com" along the bottom. What else was I gonna put down there?!? ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer @brazilianvwbay | |

| I've bought C13MPR for mine - not sure if it looks enough like CAMPER to actually use it. Pick up date is a couple of weeks off so I'll decide once she's arrived. | |
