| Hi all, I am thinking about selling the front dummy wheel cover of my watercooled bay, see attached photo. It's in pristine condition, the bay only has 6000 miles on it. Please note that I will not be able to sell immediately, as I need to get a plain replacement grill cover first, but let me know if you're interested and I'll get in touch. Danbury sells this for £399 (plus installation, I guess), so was thinking around £300 ONO. If you have a plain white front cover for exchange, I could reduce that, of course. Cheers, Max

Welcome to the forum, I am sure you will find out what you need to know here. There is a poll running at the moment to give the wheel cover a new name... have a look through it and you will see the wheel cover apears to be not a popular choice of option from the comments.... bear in mind the comments are mainly from members with rad grills (eastern european look) so I would guess you will need to be lucky to sell on your wheel cover but good luck. |

| Max, I think there will be plenty of people interested in your cover. Some like to have the option of changing the look of their BraziBay.

Jason,
The van comes from Brazil with the grill cover fitted, if Max has bought the van from you I would guess you have charged him for the dummy wheel cover already @ £390 why dont you offer him the grill FOC excluding post obviously. If you do a swap that would mean he has paid for it already, you get it back FOC and sell it on @ £390. That appears to me like a 'double whammy' Please correct me if I am wrong |

Wow, good to hear there's some discussion going on about these covers ;-) Who knows, maybe someone likes it more than I do – can't argue about taste  Jason, do you have a photo of the new 2011 style cover? I only know the older one and don't like it that much. And as Olive has very kindly pointed out, I would need to know more details first before I can consider a swap. Cheers, Max |
