I'm so grateful that my Kombi has manual windows, manual clunky light switches, manual hard-working steering, manual, manual, manual! Not 21st century, but no chance of failing

Hey Peppa,
Thanks for helping me out here! I was wondering why the bus was going in circles forever!
I like the light switches (or pullers), because they remind me of some no-nonsense, indestructible Russian spacecraft designs. Not that I've been inside a Russian spacecraft.

I am not sure about this. Type 2 Bay Window with a 60's design, having no power steering, 4 forward gears, no air con, 2 speed window wipers, no central locking, wind up windows. Having all this makes it for me and makes me appreciate how much driving a vehicle has progressed. I like the old method so electric windows wont be fitted to Olive.
