Hello, I have a few days ago a "tuber" - so one says in Germany to a parking violation, get. Not bad, that happens. But that would be so high, is incredible. I have apparently stood in a parking lot and waited there for more than 3 hours. Can be good, because when I visited GB, I have a few times in several parking spots a little nap. But in my view this was only on the freeway. They are actually free of fees, or not? In any case, I had now 119.37 euros for about 3 hours to pay. I only thought it was a rip-off. But after some googlen I saw with frightened that this is apparently not so. Because then also the parkticket could not be assigned to a driver, the thing was really expensive. So at the next Sleepover visit, I stand on the highway when I need a little break. I then paid teeth-crunching. Since I would have bought something else for. You all a nice week. Warm greetings from Germany.

Georg,
This is not a 'Parking Charge Notice' issued by the UK police or local authority, it is a letter from a private company employed by the owners of the land to request payment for staying too long.
General advice for letters like this is to do nothing. You will likely receive further letters threatening legal action and trying to frighten you into paying, but it is VERY difficult for them to actually enforce in law and they will eventually give up.
If you do contact them they may view it as an admission that you were there are it may give them more legal standing to pursue.
The APNR cameras (the ones taking your picture) are on the entrance and exit to the services, however there are areas within the services that don't belong to Roadchef, namely the petrol station. You can park for up to 2hrs in the designated parking spaces, it is quite possible that you spent the remaining 55mins in the petrol station, filling with petrol, checking tyres, buying and drinking a coffee, reading a newspaper etc.
They will almost definitely not be able to prove otherwise.
