It's made up of a sheet of marine ply, a section of polystyrene and then the glass fibre. It's not perfectly flat and therefore the more holes you cut into it, the more it will flex and the more leaks it may develop. I really don't rate those moon roofs. They always seem to leak. Take the whole pop top off and you'd have a huge sunroof!!
