| We know it is only approaching the end of August, but the Scooby Duo are already thinking about next year! It's never too early to start planning ahead - so where are you looking or booking for 2019? Doo tell So far (at this early stage) Scooby is considering the following for 2019 . . . Easter trip? May - Cotswold Meet - deposit paid/booked June - Somerset Summer Solstice Others would possibly include Vanwest, Bristol Volksfest and Camperjam In due course there will be new shows for 2019 added to this events section - hopefully some close to you. So doo watch this space in the coming months as new events get added - just as soon as we can locate up to-date websites. | We'll be doing Lakefest (Eastnor Castle near Ledbury) - 8-11th Aug - this will be 4 years in a row at this fantastic family festival. Have a look at www.lakefest.co.uk and they're on instagram & facebook too. | |

| There are now around 36 shows in the events section - hopefully some near you. More will be added in due course when we can locate a suitable website (and can find the time!) So where are you looking and booking for 2019? Doo tell. ________________________________________________________________________________ Proud winners of Spike's Trophy 2017 Scooby - Born To Run | |

| So far Cotswolds & Camperjam booked going back to Concierge Camping in March. Elemental show again if it doesn't conflict. Campermart looks likely as well, although probably not in Sulley. | |

| I know it's early but anyone had any thoughts on the Kombi Kaper for 2019?
We're starting to think about next years trips and loved our tour down to Cornwall & Devon via Alpine Grove last year and found some pretty cool places so will probably head back that way in August.

Hey Buddy , we have the Christmas Curry this weekend so will speak to the rest of the group and see what plans people have. I believe at least two of the group are off to Ile de Re at differing times but would be nice to try and do something collectively if we can. We (Jo&I) do plan a couple of fly off's to Cyprus and Ibiza for some proper sunshine but wouldn't discount ourselves from a Kombi Kaper. If you want to start the ball rolling buddy please feel free to share some ideas. Shame you're not joining us this weekend. ________________________________________________________________________________ Steve, Jo TigerLily and Carra the Child lovin' Golden Cocker

Hi mate, we did think about it but with both of us working in London and the girls to consider we couldn't make it happen! Shame, I do love a ruby. We're thinking Cornwall during school holidays, via Alpine Grove. We stumbled on Polzeath beech when we went to Port Issac, would like to go back there - really cool surfing location. France has been mentioned as well. As you say, would be nice to do something collectively. Can't beat Ibiza, probably my favourite place in the world

With Tim being on the Island , seems rude not to pay a visit or two. Add in the Sun , sea and Sangria and you can't go wrong! I will leave the clubbin' to you guys though ________________________________________________________________________________ Steve, Jo TigerLily and Carra the Child lovin' Golden Cocker

Don't forget this boring sh+te that you'll need an International Driving Licence to drive into Europe post March. More hassle..... I'm kinda hoping that everyone will see sense and get the whole mess sorted by then, hang on, what planet am I on?!

| 2019 (once we get our new campervan) will be mostly short trips in the UK. 2020 we have a major Scandinavian road trip planned. Probably go back to Italy* and beyond in 2022.
nb: We drove our Brazilian Bay from Scotland to *Italy for our eldest daughter's wedding in 2011. A long way and lots of tunnels. Lake Como is a lovely area. ________________________________________________________________________________ what is best in life ?
