Congratulations on the MOT pass, Scooby
It could help us all check our campers if you were to point out where the welding was needed.

The front wheel arches, by the sink drain plug and at the rear where a tow bar would be fitted (Scooby does not have one).

Thanks Scooby for the info on rust areas. Will check our camper too.
Was it the outside edges of the front arches or perhaps the flat area inside the door?

Hi OSG - It was the flat areas behind/around the wheels (not on the external arches)

I had previously removed the pop-top boards, as we didn't need them for children and they were heavy and high in the bus, so lowered the centre of gravity a bit.
However, I missed having a shelf to put things on when we were camping without an awning or pop-up tent.  So yesterday I found an old piece of chipboard in the garage and cut it to form a smaller top shelf.

We did the same last year to create more headroom (and there was no way we could ever climb up there!!). I got a bit of Maple finish board from B&Q to match the rest of the interior

That looks very nice.

I'm afraid the old piece of board I used looks very similar to yours - colour etc. - but it's more of an off-cut, as it has a corner cut out and doesn't match the grey colour of our units! Laughing

Drove back from Oxford, having spent a couple of nights at the C&CC campsite there doing some work things.

Bumble brought some needed colour to an otherwise very white motorhome-filled site. jocolor

Squirted some aerosol Dinitrol ML and Dinitrol 3125 using their 60cm extension nozzle wand on the cans.
Holes in front and rear chassis members. The holes under the front which feed the nozzle up and over the hollow front wheel arch edges. Drain holes in bottom of all 3 doors, rear engine hatch and rear door used to insert the wand. Had newspaper ready to catch the drips.
Only a partial job as the holes inside the rear arches which give access to the hollow there, and the holes in the lower corner of the  front arches which give access to the cills, are covered over with underseal just now.
