| Regretably they never made a barndoor bay in brazil...but they did make loads of these which take most of the side panels of a T1 and mix them up with front, rear and roof panels of a T2

| IF you look closely the over riders are bolt on type rather than part of the bumper itself. Nott sure if squared type USA over riders would fit but they certainly could be fabricated up to fit.

| Hey welcome from the other side of the globe! Did you get your Bay locally or import it? Tell us more about yourself and your T2 in the New Bays section. ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer @brazilianvwbay | |

Picked it up locally here in New Zealand, Van has been here since it was new, has some rust but nothing too serious, Have managed to locate a good supplier for new parts in Brazil as there are lots of parts that are specific to this model. It currently stripped back to a shell and am repairing the rust and getting ready to repaint.

Hey NZSubaru: if you're still using the forum, and if you wouldn't mind - any chance of letting me know who the supplier in Brazil you found is?! I'm doing up the same bus up here in Auckland - although we bought it in Mossgiel! Ours is not in that bad a shape but worse than yours and I'd like to share your source if I could. Cheers mate.
