When sleeping in our awning we use two thermal self inflating matresses as used by hikers Its only about an inch thick and rolls up really small Used with a 3 season sleeping bag it saves on space & weight - works for us Never used the bed type suggested so will watch feed back with interest

Looks similar to our pump which also has a 12v adapter for use in a cigarette lighter.

I have started using a thermarest - which I think Scooby is talking about - they are excellent.

I bought a thermarest a few years ago, very good, but a few weeks later Aldi had the same type of thing for about a third of the price. Worth bearing in mind, their camping stuff usually comes out in the spring. If its a mains pump, would a 12v/240v inverter do the job?

I echo dizzylizard - Aldi have some excellent camping stuff - when they have it in. Luckily I got my thermarest from the classifieds in the local paper so it was a bargain. The chap even knocked £5 off without haggling !! Worked out even cheaper than Aldi.

That camping bed looks virtually the same as the one I bought in the summer in Tescos. I bought a single one for £18 plus blow-up mattress to go on it for £8. The single one in the link you posted is £99!!
Shop around people!!
