Subject: There's something about a Kombi ... Sat Nov 26, 2011 9:28 am
I often bring my BraziBay into work at weekends as the roads are empty and I like Max to get some exercise during the colder months. I pull up at the security gatehouse at 0650, show my pass as normal, but unlike when I'm in my car, the security guard insists I wind down my window. In my early morning stupor I think 'what now?!' I wind down the window and he stretches out his hand and pats the window frame saying "I just wanted to touch it - this is the best!"
I thank him, smile and drive on.
How many other vehicles get such attention!?!

On our trip down to Euro Disney last week we stopped overnight in an Aire de Parc, found a quiet corner to sleep for the night. Woke in the morning to find four happy French lorry drivers all round Mish, we had a happy conversation (I think) all about him and shared our coffee..... Kombi..... the International language of detente (if that's how you spell it )
