All, just back from Brighton Breeze, some pics etc
Must admit that after the mini heatwave at Brighton Brreze 2011, we were watching the weather/rain this week with interest. In the end the forecast was for sunshine so we drove the 1.5 hours to Brighton on Saturday aiming to get to Madeira drive by 10am.
On the M23 we picked up with small convoy of all sorts of splits and bays and parked up on the seafront with no problems. Amoung the hundreds of folks milling around my kids shouted "THERES SCOOBY" recognising him from the Kombi

The weather all afternoon was fantastic autumn sunshine, we found Scooby and also bumped in TimV. There we only saw one other Brazi (Sunny1 ??) who parked nearby...

We plannd to camp at the raceourse and arrived to a queue at 4pm (it opens at 4.30, and there was a bit of sprint for the best pitches, but plenty of room at that time (not so after 6pm). We made our camp and flew the flag (spot the mistake).

The evening entertainment is in the racecourse stands with a live band (Ska covers) and lively bar.
we looked in on that but preferred a BBQ then stuck some logs on and sat out for a couple of hours.
Sunday morning woke to a great sunrise and bacon rolls, then a beautiful sunny trip home M23/M25...
