Really enjoyed the event this year despite the shocking weather, and intend to go again next year.

It's a small event but it's growing and the facilities are excellent. We had a good chat with the organisers on the Saturday night and have seen and chatted to them at a few other events since. Really nice people.

I'm happy to co-ordinate things if people would like a 'club camping' pitch.

Scooby will not know about attending until much nearer the time

It's on the diary for us next year. The weather couldn't be any worse than this year.

Dubs in the Forest

The event organisers have been forced to change the date a location of this years event.

The new dates are looking like Friday 27th September - Sunday 29th September, new location yet to be confirmed.

The updated details for Dubs in the Forest have now been confirmed, the price has crept up a little, however this is due to the event now being held on a conventional touring camp site and not simply in a big field, which means a general improvement on all available 'facilities' which now include showers and an EHU for everyone.

Details as follows:

We can now confirm the new venue and prices for Dubs in the Forest 2013.

Set in 8 acres of glorious, peaceful parkland Lytton Lawn Touring Park near Milford-on-Sea has a great reputation with guests for offering a tranquil and relaxing rural retreat that everyone in the family will enjoy.

Camping passes are priced at £45 per pitch (2 Adults/3 Kids), additional adults @ £15.00 each. One vehicle per pitch (additional vehicles @ £5.00 each).

Facilities Include:

Games Room - Includes table tennis, pool table and air hockey. Complimentary WiFi available here

Children’s Play Area - This safe children’s play area is sure to keep your kids active and entertained.

Dog Walking Area - All the exercise your dog will need is on park as well as further walking routes in nearby woodland, coastline and fields

Large Recreation Field - For sports and activities requiring a larger space, there is a recreation field ideal for football, rounders and cricket.

● Well stocked shop with off licence and camping equipment
● Ice block hire
● Calor gas exchange
● Chemical and motorcaravan disposal points
● Free, hot showers
● Complimentary WiFi is available in the games room
● The voltage for electric hook up is 16 amp on Premier pitches and 10 amp on Serviced grass pitches

Use of facilities at Shorefield Country Park

Guests at Lytton Lawn Touring Park are welcome to use all the leisure facilities at Shorefield Country Park, just over 2.5 miles away (we are hoping to arrange a shuttle bus)

Not sure Scooby can make the Sept date, but good to know Brazi Bays will be there!

Will probably go to this but don't want to book quite yet. Very local to us.

Bit early for me too. Hopefully by then I'll be in gainful employment (ha!), just don't know where. Keeping an eye on it though.

Might be able to make it but am going to make a decision nearer the time..

Be sure to include 'Brazilian VW Bay' on the booking form, the organisers have said they will try to pitch is all together even though there is no official club camping.

All sounds good - I'd better get ordering a pitch!

Apparently there are now less than 50 pitches available for this event, best get booking!

Keith and Serena suggested this event to us at Camperjam and have just emailed the event and places are still available and they would happily put the Brazi Bunch together... If you want an application PM me your email address and I'll forward it on...
