Subject: A trip to Silverdale, Morecambe Bay Sat Mar 02, 2013 4:10 pm
Needed to get out today so stuck some milk in the fridge and we set off for Morecambe Bay. We parked at Quakers Stang and walked along the Lancashire Coastal Way to Jenny Brown's Point.

Continuing on towards Silverdale we called into the Wolf House Cafe (allegedly it was here near here where the last wolf in England was shot) and then completed the loop back to the van.

We then drove to Warton Crag for a brew and some peregrine spotting and a chill for 45 mins before driving home down the M6.

The sunshine of the past few days eluded us today (typical), but it was dry, if a little chilly. Good to be out and a fine way to spend Saturday afternoon.

You should have come to Yorkshire - that is where all the sunshine was this Saturday - for a change...

Nice Blog and good collection of pics - like the 'big red nose' pic by the wall Scooby also thinks there were not enough pics of Boris? (although those that were there have captured him well) Does not look that "grim up North" - far from it Scooby must venture up there some day Roo b Roo
