Hi there, New to the forum, but not to vw campers!! Recently sold our old and rusty T25. Basically we have ordered a lovely 2010 T2 Classic spec in Sage Green from Danbury, and are looking at renting it out. We are in Pembrokeshire. Any tips, advice etc about starting a new venture? Insurance, prices, what to include, allow trips to europe , pets etc. Your thoughts would be much appreciated!! Luke

Hi Luke, welcome and all the best of luck with your venture. There are a number of folk here who hire out their Kombi to make it pay its way so you've come to the right place. I'm sure you'll be hearing from some of them very shortly.

Take a look at the Kombi Konnect section of the forum - if you don't already have access send a quick PM to Timv - most if your questions have already been answered there and if not, all the people with the answers will be.
The bottom line is that all hire companies differ a bit in either price, what's included, flexibility or something else and you should use this information as a guide to work out what is best for you.
Feel free to pm me ( or post in Kombi Konnect ) with any specific questions.

Many thanks for your help and good luck wishes!! The company is going to be called 'Van Kampers'. Lots to look into but have had answers already by looking on the Kombi Konnect. First of all though is insurance. Dennis... i am in a little village between Fishguard and St. Davids, close to Haverfordwest. Lovely area! are you familiar with Pembrokeshire?
