What a weekend we've had at the Larmer Tree Festival!
I don't normally enthuse quite so much but I can't see how it could have been any better. There were loads of Kombis of all shapes and sizes and the vibe was fantastic.
I've finished the Blog: C13MPR and the full set of pics is here: Flickr

Another great blog, Martin, and the bonus of an 'atmospheric haze' I was on a permanent 3 week high when I was working with the summer solstice at Stonehenge in the 80s. (that and the smell of patchouli oil). Happy days.

Sunny it's Reyt not right where I were dragged up
I saw a pink Kombi at Latitude this which was parked close to us but everytime we went passed there was no one in - thought it may have been Peppa (never met him before)

We all had a great time - the weather made it for us It was our second year there and following last years knee deep mud was a welcome change I would recommend it as a festival as there is loads to do even if you don't like the music Highlight for me was Richard Ashcroft from the Verve Saw Kraftwork doing a 3D concert - it was more entertaining watching the crowd with their 3D glasses on though (Not a fan - only know She's a model) Moved on to see Texas who were good - didn't realise how many songs they had I just like to wander round from stage to stage until something takes my fancy - The comedy tent is great if you manage to get a sofa - get me sat down with a few pints and it's hard to get back up Will probably go again next year

Good stuff. You're quite proficient with the old GoPro movies now. Think I've used mine properly just the once, albeit in the sea on a board. You'll be directing us all on the trip to France

Just a quick heads up that tickets go on sale for the 2014 Larmer Tree Festival next week. We had a great time this year - helped by glorious sunshine and soaring temperatures. I'm almost certain we're going again in 2014.
Larmer Tree Tickets.

Talking of Folk Festivals Abs, have you ever come across a duo called HowdenJones.
We have just had a query from them today about hiring our social hall for a gig next year, just wondered what they are like.

Great blog again Abs, don't know how our paths didn't cross. Sunday we were driving all around the area, and on the Monday morning, I passed within a couple of miles of Bitton driving through Keynsham on my way home to Bradford as usual.
