Tim - how about adding evening entertainment as an option. It was great to get together in the courtyard this year although I recall a very dodgy disco! Lol!

Scooby may be interested in next year's Kombi Kaper in Spain, but would prefer a smaller site if possible?

To keep you posted, I'm currently waiting to see what leave I get allocated next summer. Until I know what time I have off work, I can't progress this any further.

So this was discussed a bit tonight at the Monster Meet. Who wants to go back to La Foret?

We're up for a Kaper , but pretty difficult getting two weeks holiday in the summer holidays as have lots of staff with kids too so we try and share it out...

Got that Abs, hence the discussion yesterday.

Tbh if we aren't bringing Gabbie with us then La Foret wouldn't be the best for us but as a venue that suits people with little 'uns it'd take some beating.

I think we'll probably go abroad out of season next year. I've had 32 years of having to go in the school holidays so at last we may be able to avoid it.

Scooby has made other Holiday plans with no time for a Kombi trip as well
We shall therefore unfortunately not be attending

No not too personal, we would have liked an area which was more within Cycle / walking distance of places to visit .We like to cycle and walk, not drive to places.

Can we look at a similar site in vendee which is near a bigger village and closer to a beach

I like the location to the beach daz, but I don't think the teens would find it very entertaining - no waterslides or other facilities to keep them busy. No bar either

Suggestions please - I'm really busy at the moment so the more research people can help with, the better. We need to try and satisfy as many of the criteria as possible: suitable for families, decently located for sun, affordable, on site bar/entertainment, walking distance to a town, capable of taking 15 or so club campervans.

Been in contact with Select Sites today. They're hunting down a site on the Vendee coast, walking distance to the beach, bar, waterslides, walking distance from a town, that will take 15 BraziBays pitched together last week of July, first week of August. They're coming back to me.

August out of the question for us in 2014 unfortunately , July and Sept both fine , too many people at work with kids who want time off in the school holidays. Having no children at school anymore means I'm asked to give them preference... Pesky kids

That's decent and responsible of you bb. However, you could join us for the last week in July maybe and motor home before August kicks in?

Like that idea Tim , sounds like a plan... Would need to be back to work Monday 4th Aug.
