I spotted some LED strip lighting in Aldi last week. It's designed to be used under kitchen cabinets and plinths but I decided to try it around the window of my Kombi.
Fitting the strips was very easy. They come with a durable self adhesive backing tap which sticks nicely to the back of the worktop and above the window frame. In order to turn a corner you simply cut the strip along a designated point and use one of the wire connectors included in the kit. The 5 metre pack was enough to frame the entire window with 200 little lights and conveniently plug into the socket above the back wardrobe.
They were first used at this weekend's Halloween Bash and I must say they give a really nice light particularly when the curtains are drawn.
It was difficult to take photos that fully show the effect but these give you some idea.
and the link to the product -

I've had some green ones of those type of lights for ages but never got round to fitting them - a job for this winter maybe.
Yours look great hh. ________________________________________________________________________________ Absinthe makes the heart grow fonder Blog: C13MPR Finalist in the Caravan Club Caravanner of the Year Competition 2016 Star Kombi Winner 2015 Gina Tonic Exec 020 Cabin : Warboys Cambs Location : 174 Posts : 2012-07-30 Join date :

They are all completely sealed. They are designed to be used under kitchen cabinets so they must be moisture proof to protect from the cooking steam etc.
