| Weather set fair in the South East next weekend , so we've decided to book a local site for three nights... Anyone else going anywhere with their Kombi? ________________________________________________________________________________ Steve, Jo TigerLily and Carra the Child lovin' Golden Cocker | |

| Love Swanage too, always had our family holidays there as a child. We're currently near Chichester, been for a long walk on West Wittering beach today - lovely white sand, not been there before. Tempted to get away next weekend too, but have to work on Friday :-(. Have a good time everyone wherever you go!! | |

| Well Tallulah and Sunshine Daisy the weather has been good for you so hope you had great days away, seems like Easter Weekend should be fair too so its going to give me an opportunity to give the new Khyam an outing..
We're only heading 30 miles up the road but have hook up and great dog walking areas so really looking forward to getting away... Just need to decide if I bike to the site and let Jo contend with the van and the dog!!
Hope everyone has a great Easter , whether out or about or at home ________________________________________________________________________________ Steve, Jo TigerLily and Carra the Child lovin' Golden Cocker

| Loading up the van to head for Belgium and Holland after Easter. Just how much stuff does she need to take? I always thought there were shops abroad, but she's not taking too many risks. Really looking forward to our first trip of the year. | |

We went last year too, but Easter was early and it was cold, still we enjoyed ourselves - see link below:
A Swanage Tale Brill!!! Not taken the Van down as yet but on our to do list... We like getting the Steam train down stopping off for Coffee and Cake in Corfe before a stroll around the castle. Then onwards to Swanage for a walk along the pier and a fish and chip supper!! Looking forward to getting away for a few nights now , weather saying 10-14 degrees with the sun shining just hoping that the morning frosts don't bite too hard! ________________________________________________________________________________ Steve, Jo TigerLily and Carra the Child lovin' Golden Cocker

| Last time we went to Swanage we went or a walk round the castle, when we got back to the carpark saw LadyJ parked a few cars away. Didn't get to see them though as they had gone or a trip on the train ________________________________________________________________________________ Ginger man without a ginger van | |

| Hi, Enjoy Swanage, it's a great little seaside town. We normally try to get down there in March and October for the blues festival. This Easter we're taking Daisy and Eric (the caravan) off to Norwich with some friends. Shouldn't have too much trouble with the traffic ... most of it will be in the queue behind us! | |

| Tim , Sky Sports 1 , one of my 5 favourite channels ! Also like SS2,SS3,SS4 and SS News .. The new Kyham is up not quite as easy as we'd envisaged but sure second time around we'll have it nailed I'm sure... Quite a nip in the air but fighting it off with a glass of red and the fan heater! Probably head off to the seaside in the morning , to give the dog a run and find fish and chips for lunch... Whatever you're doing Enjoy... Happy Easter.. ________________________________________________________________________________ Steve, Jo TigerLily and Carra the Child lovin' Golden Cocker | |

| We were at Swanage the week before last having a lovely time parked along the promenade until an unhelpful traffic warden gave me the option of moving Gulliver or having a parking ticket. I was told that we were not a car and were therefore not allowed to park along the promenade. Despite my very convincing protests, together with a call to Dorset Country Council, we were ordered to move. I know Gulliver is a car and so does DVLA but DCC suggest that he isn't because he has cooking facilities on board - even though they were not being used. Funnily enough they don't happen to mention their own personal classification of Car on either their Parking Machine or Website. Sadly i let it ruin the day and am going to fight to get my £8 parking fee returned.
Perhaps if I had legs like Scooby i might have been allowed to stay…..

| Sorry to read about your tale of woe Firebird Over the Easter Weekend we saw parked on the Friday and Monday, a couple of Splitties and T5's on the promenade. On the Tuesday we even saw one of the larger campers parked on the promenade! You have our morale support in this - please let us know the outcome. With regard to 'legs like Scooby' doo not wish that upon yourself Roo b Roo ________________________________________________________________________________ Proud winners of Spike's Trophy 2017 Scooby - Born To Run | |
