| After seeing HarryHornet's LED lights at Dubs At The Park decided to do some of my own. I decided to use the existing interior lights that Danbury fit and replace the fluorescent tube with an LED strip instead. Managed to get 5M of LED strip for the bargain price of £2.50 off Ebay I removed all the electronics and transformer from behind the end cover and wired the LED strip to the units switch. with the cover back on ________________________________________________________________________________ Ginger man without a ginger van | |

| Does this reduce the lecky consumption, as I thought the strip lights were supposed to be low draw anyway? | |

| Strip lights use less than normal incandescent lamps, but do have a high start up current. LEDs have zero startup and use very little power, better all round ________________________________________________________________________________ Ginger man without a ginger van | |

Sounds (and looks) good then. Next trick, mood lighting with different colored strips and the option to change as required.

| With some of the left over Led strip I decided to make a light for the awning. All I did was wrap the strip around some pvc tube I found in the garage, add some cable that is long enough to plug in the 12v socket and put a hook at the top so it can be hung from the awning ________________________________________________________________________________ Ginger man without a ginger van | |

Very surprised at how well it worked! Looking forward to seeing how you hook it up to some new engineering project. Technicoloured brick perhaps or maybe different colours depending on speed.
