Good to see Absinthe on Skye. Very smart set up. Good blog, thanks for including Bluebell. Following your recommend we decided to visit Lewis & Harris and it was every bit as good as you said. Back home now with a list of must do jobs on Bluebell.

Hi Tim, look in on the site quite often as it's a fountain of information. Always seem to find somebody who's solved a problem.. Bluebells job list includes: Body dent due to careless driving on my part next to garden wall. Rear wheel arch rust . Roof strut ball joint repair. Install switch in rear to turn radio off at night. Install push button for water pump as second tap switch has failed. New fan belt.as original is getting slack. Try to ease drivers side door winder. Try to improve dash lighting.
Did like the look of Absinthes lite steer but not quite ready for this yet.

Our driver-side window was hard to wind. I thought some lubrication was needed. But then I noticed that one end of the rubber scraper along the bottom edge of the glass had tucked itself over into the gap. Straightened this out and no further problems. osg

I've finally got round to making a video - here's part of our Tour of Harris in Absinthe:
More to follow when I find some more time...

There isn't much traffic on the Hebrides, Michel - the video was shot during the afternoon - most of the roads are single track with passing places and everyone gives you a cheery wave as they pass by.
