| Hi we are looking for a fixed buddy seat similar to one in the the pic, as we want it comfortable for long distances and also have a 3 point seatbelt. we have seen one in an advert in camper and commercial, but there was no details on the website. The VW camper co (where we bought the camper) built one in a customers van - it looked fantastic, but a bit pricey. Any help appreciated thanks paul | |

| Not sure if this helps Paul, but here is something similar you could adapt if you fancy having a go yourself. There are plenty of companies who will make the cushions.
You may have to sort your own fixings, as we don't have the high metal bulkhead behind the front seats.
(The pictures of the better version are towards the bottom of the page)

| Could you use the same seat belt mount points as the drivers belt? ________________________________________________________________________________ www.alpinegrovetouringpark.com Twitter: @AlpineGrove Facebook: facebook.com/alpinegrovetouringpark

| I'm hopefully getting some quotes next week - if it was left to me to build - it would never happen... Hopefully an Xmas present - I think the bus is having all my presents this year! I'm hoping the seat belt can be easily fitted - I've had a look and it may need its own fixing point on the pillar. I'll post some pics when finally done. | |

| Finally had the buddy seat fitted. It was made around the original buddy seat padding so is large enough for an adult. We just had a 15 year old teenager travel in it for 2 1/2 hours with no probs. We had it made at The VW Camper Co near Banbury. It cost around £300 and the work is also quite good. | |

| Our house is now done - had time for the cars There is a lid under the seat padding, so still plenty of storage. I also travel very light, unlike the family... | |
