Hello again,
We are looking to buy an awning for our van. Can anyone offer any advice on good ones to buy? We might see if we can find a secondhand one on eBay, are there any to avoid?

Hi Lori, there are lots of threads on awnings , if you type in Awning in the search function in the top left of the website you'll find a wealth of information. We personally have the Khyam Motordome Sleeper which we are very happy with but there are many other great alternatives on the market dependent on the style you're after and of course your budget. Take a look at Absinthekombi's great 'videos' in the art of Awning erection too...

I had a good look at the Vango AirBeam Attar 380 - Inflatable Air Awning at Dubs in the Park last Sunday. I have to say it was the largest awning I've seen with some great features. It does depend on your budget though - these retail at £750.
As BB says have a good read of all the threads on awnings. There are lots of pros and cons.
