Well done Baylee! Our Lady bug went in for her first MOT yesterday too, she's growing up! ________________________________________________________________________________ www.alpinegrovetouringpark.com Twitter: @AlpineGrove Facebook: facebook.com/alpinegrovetouringpark

| Charging leisure battery, packing and now cooling down fridge, ready to go away to the Big Church Day Out festival in Sussex tomorrow.
No hook-up, so leisure battery will need to last until Monday!

P. Battery tips: Have fridge up high for the journey, turn it down on arrival and off overnight (make sure the door is closed tight). You'll be fine. ________________________________________________________________________________ www.alpinegrovetouringpark.com Twitter: @AlpineGrove Facebook: facebook.com/alpinegrovetouringpark

Fridge is too old to have such fancy things as a 'coldness' control?! It was rubbish, to be honest and needs replacing; it kept on coming up with battery low, even though I knew it wasn't and wouldn't switch on at all. Anyway, Big Church Day Out music festival was great and we survived the thunderstorms on Sunday night (even if M. had to get out and lower our sunflower sunshade in the night!) P.

Scooby was parked on the beach for 10 hours yesterday Needed to clean all of his important little places! Finished off with a Meguiar's wash - see how his coat doo shine - now it is raining ________________________________________________________________________________ Proud winners of Spike's Trophy 2017 Scooby - Born To Run

| Tallulah had a nice wash today too, after a busy week taking us camping, kayaking and to the forest for Go Ape.
We had planned to pop along to Stoner VW Expo too, but decided that we had too many jobs at home that needed finishing. Maybe next year. ________________________________________________________________________________ www.alpinegrovetouringpark.com Twitter: @AlpineGrove Facebook: facebook.com/alpinegrovetouringpark

| Bumble went to the New Forest over the weekend (like S/Stan), but we were in Lymington. We also took the ferry over to the IOW with our bikes and cycled to Freshwater Bay, once we'd exhausted the Old Gaffers event in Yarmouth. Nice site (if a bit noisy) - has http://www.hurstdubfest.co.uk/ there this next weekend. It was a bit windy and I managed to break our flagpole , well the bottom section anyway. Any idea how to fix it?! P. | |

| Bought new wheels for Sadie today. Powder coating our steel wheels was ruled out as it cost close to the cost of new alloys. ________________________________________________________________________________ what is best in life ?

| Our flag pole broke and I tried to fix it with duck tape. It didn't work and we ended up purchasing a new one. It might be possible to just buy that section.?? | |

That's what I was hoping - I'll contact Spirit of Air; until then, we have an 7m flagpole P.

| Picked up the van from the garage with new clutch cable. Needs a new cable conduit (ordered). Booked in for next Thursday to get the conduit fitted. Can't identify the clutch cable required to replace my spare one with certainty so will leave till I get time. The new cable is bound to last a week ________________________________________________________________________________ what is best in life ?
