Subject: GAS BI Fuel - Logbook declaration? Mon Sep 26, 2016 11:29 am
Hi, I have travelled to the continent in our 'Olive' and used Eurostar a couple of years ago without any problem and hope to go again next year but using the ferry however er indoors thinks she had seen a comment somewhere regarding the logbook and having to get it changed as it states in ours 'GAS Bi Fuel'. I know lots of you went this year - is this an issue and do we need to have the log book changed?

No issues on the ferries Bileos, I think there may be a potential issue with Eurotunnel as they don't allow gas powered vehicles.
We all know that the 'gas bi fuel' refers to petrol and ethanol, but it's easy to see how others could think otherwise if they read the log book entries.

Thanks for response Tallulah, I have also checked the Ferry website and there is no restriction I can see other than the amount of gas you can take which won't be a problem.

Travelled twice via tunnel, the only thing they check is that your gas bottle for the cooker is disconnected fir the journey, not interested in anything else.
