Kyham air awning

I just brought a kyham air awning on eBay I have the instructions but not really sure when I take pin off the air comes out so I twist something to stop air before I put cap on, also should I tie it down once I start pimping it up I am doing it on my own so seems a bit hard any advice

Don't know about stopping the air coming out, but the pics in the attached link show a pin that you push in to release the air which acts as a one-way valve when blowing up.

Haha (deleted) sorry pump it up that sounds abit weird as well haha well you know what I mean

My pump on my air awning inflates the airbeam and deflates it depending on the settings on the pump i attache it too.it shouldnt release air when pump is removed.great bit of advice is to try it out before you actually go camping.it takes half the time 2nd time around which gives you more time to have a glass of guiness
