| Got a flat only to realise there is no jack under the seat. What I thought was a jack was a spare fire extinguisher. Consulted Just Kampers & they advised a trolley Jack. Anybody know the weight of our vans? I'm guessig it's on the site somewhere but can't find it. Cheers Folks BH | |

| It's about 1300Kg plus the internal fittings. I'm guessing you are going to be OK with a 2 tonne trolley jack, but best get the advice of someone who uses one with their van. | |

| As Voyager says, unladen weight as it comes from Brazil is 1259 kg, maximum permissible gross weight is 2300 kg...so somewhere in between. ( weight allowed on front axle 995 kg and back axle 1320 kg). For roadside use a 2 ton jack looks ok. I carry a 2 ton bottle jack and foldable wheel chocks as well as the supplied jack for emergencies as they are easy to store, something like this. It's a bit of a trade off between sturdiness and space, but better than nothing. https://www.sgs-engineering.com/wcs01-folding-steel-wheel-chocks (they also do jacks) If you are thinking of working underneath, good quality axle stands, proper wheel chocks and probably a bigger jack for safety..... I'm a bit belt and braces
