| Our camper inactive in the drive today.
Just cut lawns with a Shanks's ball bearing COMET. This push mower was made in the 1930s and still works like a dream. Turned wooden handgrips, wooden sides to the grass-box, wooden front rollers. The rear roller is grooved and split to allow easy changes of direction and spins the cutters by a chain drive. Brilliant cutting and the ball bearings mean very little effort to push along. Eighty years old and beautifully engineered. Pleased our camper was designed at the time when engineering meant quality rather than when 'development' gives us plastic, short lived tack.

Good to hear, osg, and I trust you were wearing your waistcoat and bowler hat while mowing the lawn 'for the master'! P.

| Had our first run out yesterday. Battery had gone flat, but other than that she was fine. Using the lock-down to cover the visors and apply the many stickers we have collected. Camping at the back of the house tonight...even in this wind!!!! | |

| Lockdown humdrum was interrupted today by the arrival of my new cab floor mats from MadMatz. They make the cab look way too clean. Cant wait to get back to the beach and get sand engrained in them ;-) | |

| Yesterday popped the roof and gave the gutters a good clean and wax. Weren’t really that dirty but roof hadn’t been up in a while so just wanted to check. Then gave the van a run out , took a look at the Disney Cruise Liner , had a picnic in the van , then an ice cream and came home. ________________________________________________________________________________ Steve, Jo TigerLily and Carra the Child lovin' Golden Cocker | |

| Not today, at the weekend - new wheel cylinder HT leads cap and rotor fitted. Hubcap went AWOL on test drive prompting a closer look at the wheels and tires . . . | |

P. Great feeling to be back on the road again isn't it.. Certainly was. Sitting there for two months SORNed, but with the sun we've had on the solar panels, both batteries were fully charged and she started first time. P.

| We used Sir Percival to move a dresser last weekend. He did a trip to the tip with an old tumble drier and a load of other stuff, too. We also camped in him, in the garage... | |
