I don’t know if you feel the same way I do at the moment, but I’m becoming weary of the regular social media and news sites. There’s a lot of negativity going on!!!
So on that basis I encourage everyone here to use the platform as a means of escape. No negativity required!!
I’m handing over a couple of BraziBays to new owners later this week, which is always fun. Normally I spend between 1 to 2 hours with folks. But I always point people in our direction here as ‘the’ source of information.
What things would you say you wish you’d known from Day 1 with your BraziBay that you didn’t?

The first thing we realised we didn't have was a towing hook... The summer of 2012 when most of the group were in a mud bath in Camperjam, Jo and I had taken Tigerlily on her first proper camping trip to the British Grand Prix. We arrived on the Thursday evening and 15 minutes after we went through the gate the camping ground was officially closed due to it being waterlogged, we were in so we duly set up. 3 days of constant rain later we sat there aghast with 4 x 4's being towed away by tractors knowing we had no towing hook, fearing what would become of our lovely new kombi. Fortunately we found a path once a few more tents were removed that was dry and took a run at the exit gate , TigerLily didn't let us down but soon after we had the towing hook fitted , just to be safe ...

We do feel safer and less vulnerable to damage with an added front towing point.
At the Danbury hand-over, wish we had known that the apparent wandering steering and hard to find gears would become hardly noticeable after a month on the road.

I remember taking Eddie to have his first MOT just a few months after getting him. He failed with the tester telling me that the rear fog lamp was hanging off. I argued with him as it was clearly designed to hang below the bumper using a rubber strap. Thankfully the forum pointed me to Brand Autos and Paul uses a test centre that are used to the idiosyncrasies of our vans.

Wish we had known about the breadth of information on here. Danbury should have told us when we were there for service work Our camper was nearly two and a half years old by the time we found the Forum osg

I wish I'd known...
- how warm you can get just using the burners on the hob - how many smiles you can get driving one of these - that every driver will speed up when you overtake - how cool he looks parked on my driveway!
