A mid-week break with Scooby

Hi Guys

We have just had a FAB mid-week break with Scooby, using Alpine Grove as our base.
Only just down loaded the pics so only posting a few of them now
This is our first outing with Scooby since March 2020.

Let's hope there will be many more adventures to come!

We had this last week off and left it until the last minute to check the weather forecast before booking two nights (Tuesday and Wednesday) at Alpine Grove - we packed light accordingly. (This turned into three nights as the weather was looking good - so we only came home this Friday).

We left home and arrived at Weston Super Mare just before lunchtime - Scooby did not miss a beat and enjoyed the new found freedom!
Spent the rest of the day walking around the town and beach, securing our bread pudding fix at our favourite bakers (Winnies) before a fish and chip lunch.

Here are a small selection of pics from the day - ending up at Alpine Grove.

On the second day of our trip we went to Lyme Regis - spending 7hours there in total.

On day three we went to Burton Bradstock - never been before - good cliff walking and shingle beach.
The best bit was the Hive Cafe, excellent lunch and coffee and cake, highly recommended although not cheap!

What a FAB mini break, with perfect dry and sunny weather conditions, enjoyed all the food and drink along the way too.
Alpine Grove was the perfect location for this three night trip - it was good to catch up with the Tallulah crew after such a long time.
