Hi am I right in saying the jacking point is used for fitting the side step ?So if needing to put the spare on the step has to be removed first and the scissor Jack then fits?
How is step ‘fixed’ in place

Yes the side step must be removed. It has a retaining bolt, which I think is a 14mm.
