Thanks Absinthe, I will pass on this one, we only want a small awning not one for sleeping in. Thinking about a Khyam Tourer or Movelite Midi.

Noting his stove, he might be considering a bell tent. Funnily enough, I'd looked at such a combo last year, especially the stove, which packs right down really small, but wasn't convinced about its heat output when outside (hence the bell tent, as they can go inside those). Just a matter of funds in the end, or rather, lack of funds.

Hey there,
This is our creation. My sincere apologies for the lack of info. I was just saying to Absinthe we're like those people I always mock on Dragons Den who are totally unprepared and haven't even got the basics set up (like enough stock/payment methods) before launching a product! Alan Sugar would NOT be happy. Unfortunately, this is due to our supplier having told us a date we could have some but then didn't meet that deadline. We hope to have five very soon (two of which are spoken for by Absinthe and someone else). They will retail at £750 each. We've had our prototype for the past year and I can only rave about how wonderful we've found it in comparison to the nasty green nylon alternative we also possess. With the frontier stove (we'll be selling those too) we've been away a lot in winter and very cosy to the envy of tent dwellers nearby. They pack up to the same size as a normal awning and come with a separate ground sheet (not sewn in). With a couple of practices they don't take much longer than a normal awning to put up. We'll be putting all this info and more on the website imminently however if you want any further info have any questions do just ask on here or drop us a line at glawning@gmail.com. Finally! An awning that's almost as cool as your camper!
Sarah

Our friends have a bell tent - we'll be camping in Wales with them in a few weeks - and it looks great and has loads of space - we had twelve people sat inside last year when it was raining.

Quite easy to put up too, central pole and pegs/guys round the outside, simples.

Retrorunaways, do all the sides roll up so you can have it fully open on those hot sunny days?

Sounds good. Meant to ask, can one person put it up? Oh, and what is the size?

Sarah has assured me that they've got the erection time down to 20 mins and that one person can do it.

Good point, what is the total size of pitch required for awning, tunnel and Kombi?

It's the size a 4m bell tent would take up. We've never booked extra space for ours.
