Gingers new sunglasses

OK I know I keep telling myself this is the last thing I'm going to do, but I think this is it.
Just got all the rear windows and rear lenses blacked out.

Very cool Privacy and helps keeps the sun from frying you on a hot day

It's a window tinting film stuck to the inside of the window, once it's on, it's on for good.
£150 supplied and fitted from a place near me.

I'm not too sure about the rear lenses at the moment, the black seems too much. Might go back to the originals or try some clear ones.
Then i'll be finished, maybe

Clear ones Id say......Never say never when comes to pressie for the van as we all know thats impossible

Always think it depends on the colour of your van. We have a black van so black lenses. Clear at front. £150 sounds a bargain for the tinting - have tempted to think about that as we often have 2 children in the back and on a long run it can get 'quite warm.'

Always make sure the tint finishes far enough away from the edge that it doesnt peel / lift but not too far that you see a 'sunlight gap' around the edges...Also check for bubbles as some work Ive seen in the past has been pretty poor....Try and see their work first if possible.

The clear lenses are best if you want to change them as you can still see the colour of the bulbs easily underneath. Some people paint a dark tint fluid on their lenses which is what the Golf my have had? Daft idea if you ask me!

Smoked/Red/Smoked would work for me in this instance on the tail lenses.

I'm liking that tinting. It's something I mentioned to my girlfriend but she was a bit concerned about having it around the 'kitchen' area.

Did they say anything about that to you?

My burner is by the sliding window which is always open when cooking, plus the lift up lid protects the windows as well.

Ahhhh, I forgot you would have a lift up lid. All should be good then I imagine.

We've just got an open top and I imagine the direct heat may do a bit of harm

We have the tinted windows also but only an open hob with no lift up protection ('56 model)
Boiling a kettle has made it come un-stuck in couple of corners in the centre by the hob - but hey
But we do like the tint - does offer some privacy
