| We too have used the rail to hang cloths/towels etc. when away - as you say gives some privacy without the thermal screens. With regard to the curtain rail contact Kiteman - have seen his installation and it seems to work well ________________________________________________________________________________ Proud winners of Spike's Trophy 2017 Scooby - Born To Run | |

| Yes we too have the curtain fixture ,very simple to do aluminium rail and curtain fixings from any vw curtain supplies, screws onto area below front pull down handle as this is just a piece of timber wrapped in fabric, very very good to keep the draught out and of course the privacy, you will also need to fix a press stud to side of van and cutain to help keep it in situ ,or velcro dots that stick to metal and onto curtain if you dont want to drill any holes . |

| Got mine running behind the seat as well, got my rail from B&Q. Just need to make sure the curtain is deep enough. I ended up getting a set from ebay and stitched the two front cab curtains, that were meant to go around the front screens, one on top of the other. ________________________________________________________________________________ Ginger man without a ginger van | |

| if you have curtains now in the rear ,then these no doubt will be on very small curtain rail/alloy,these comein two styles hanging from underneath or from front edge, as i said before you can get these from cutain suppliers for vw' s who will also advise you to which rail you require ,supply you with rail ,curtain hooks etc ,and fitting is via small size 4 screws into wood bulkhead |

| We are in the process of ordering new curtains from a vw curtain supplier and will be getting them to make us a curtain to go across there, they sell the same track that is in our van, which i was going to screw in to the wood surround. They said over the phone that they would do them for the same price as a splity set (7 curtains) with the large curtain included ________________________________________________________________________________ Matt. | |

| hi tilly the catches on either side will go over the track if you get the track with the runner at the bottom ,ours does with no problem ,as for the small screws 12mm ones seem to be fine i wouldnt think they would come loose ... as theres no weight in the curtain and the rail is very freely moving as in the back if you have them fitted from danbury. |

| You could be pitched in the grimmest of places, yet still wake up in a sunny place. I'll need to browse their catalogue ... ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer @brazilianvwbay | |
