New laws come into force today that mean you could be fined if you have a vehicle that is not Insured or put on SORN. Play it safe and keep on top of all insurance matters - now it really does pay not to let it lapse

If you SORN your vehicle it is not supposed to be parked on the road. If you comply to this then you dont need to insure the vehicle however, if you do park on the road then it is an offence not to have the vehicle insured.

If you do keep the vehicle off road like in a garage I would suggest to keep the vehicle insured as the it could be stolen or worse and then you would have nothing to make a claim against.
