'Steers like a cow'
Shame they can't just put in the middle row of seats to solve their numbers problem.

Hi,
Does anyone have any thoughts about the asking price of this van?Two aquabays recently sold for around £25,000 but with a fraction of the mileage. Also, this van only has a cab heater. I'm interested in the van but I'm not sure what a reasonable offer would be.
Your thoughts would be appreciated.

With that kind of mileage .... I'd say 23.5k would be a reasonable price to pay.

Cranbury, the cab heater is as all vans come unless you go for the £1000ish option of a petrol heater for the back. You need to take in to account the added optionals in respect of the price between different second hand vans. The fact it has been lowered and has the alloys will effect the price, the rhd conversion adds alot on originally also. 25k might be a little high as its 4 years old and done 12000 miles a year, but i would think it must be getting up towards 40k new today with that spec

Hi Cranbury We agree with Matt Its all about options and what you want in a camper For example for some RHD is a must, but you pay extra accordingly Remember buying and selling is about supply and demand, right place right time, etc. etc. and all of those other marketing phrases - but they do have an element of truth! When we were looking we established our max price and looked accordingly Offer what you think it is worth to you You might be surprised at what people will accept Then if its accepted all well and good If not look out for the next one Good luck

Thanks very much for your advice guys. Lowered suspension and alloy wheels aren't important to me so I think I'll wait in the hope that another Aquabay within my price range pops up.
I know of a 2007 rio spec that just sold for £22,500 with 30,000 miles on it.
This one is a high miler and i'd be weary of that. King & Link pins, Steering box, suspension, all wear out and on the brazi with its charm (read lack of refinement LOL) i think 50k miles would need a very comprehensive service history....
