Fitted a Godfather Air horn to a MK2 Cavalier a long time ago, but not to a Kombi. Easy to do just need to find some room for the trumpets, think there were 6 in total, and the mini compressor. The musical ones need to be on a seperate switch as they're not legal as a horn.

Check with the MOT man but I think Klaxon horns are not allowed on vehicles after 1972, my split has one, cool as, and my 74 bay had a moo horn (which I still have) the Mex bug has one but for the MOT I wire the old one back in (5 min job) you could wire a two way switch in to do the same! Either way it certainly makes heads turn

might finally get round to this ... anyone know where the existing horn is located - behind the radiator grille? - or somewhere underneath the front section somewhere////

It's in front of the nearside front wheel.

It's underneath the front, just right of centre.
I had a Dixie horn fitted to a mk1 Granada with a separate switch, that was fun!
